Hello and welcome dear travel blog reader!
We decided to open this new chapter on our travel blog! This quick introduction will give you all information about what kind of accommodation we want to review. Let’s get started immediately, enjoy reading!
Why do we write about that?
First things first: we strongly believe this can be a win-win-win situation for all parties! The first party is YOU! Our blog is all about giving the most interesting and relevant information to our readers. The second party is US! We are a travel couple who is trying to find its place in the Web 2.0. We are still new in this business and for sure there will be lots of new inspiration in the future. For us this is a great possibility to give more information in depth about places we stayed at. The third party is the ACCOMODATION! In our opinion good accommodations, which pursue the same values like we do, are worth to be supported.
What are the conditions?
The most important aspect is our own opinion. Yes, we might get discount rates or even services for free (because we are still two broke travelers, haha). But we reserve the right to write what we really think and believe. At the same time these blog posts are not meant to be an advertisement but a review based on our experiences.
What are the requirements and values?
We don’t want to write about every basic hostel we stayed at, but about the really special accommodations. These don’t have to be expensive 5 star hotels, they should just fit to us and our values.
We are living in a world with too much consumption and pollution, climate change is taking place (for sure) and there is still too less action to reduce it! It is very important for us to live mindful and never stop questioning things, especially during traveling. We know, that we have a relevant impact to the world, while we are wandering around – positive but also negative (i.e. increased air pollution due to flights). Therefore we try to collaborate with accommodations, which make an effort to protect our environment, to reduce their ecological footprint and support the local communities.
It doesn’t matter if it is a tent on top of a mountain, a bungalow at the beach, a treehouse in the jungle or a little hut in the middle of nowhere… we want to give an account about extraordinary accommodations we will find on our journey! Some places may be innovative, minimalistic or in any kind of way special!
